In 2020, proWIN Winter GmbH was officially designated as a climate-neutral company by CLIMATE EXTENDER and Gold Standard Climate Security & Substainable Development and certified for two years. The certificate was personally presented on June 29th by Dipl. Ing. Frank Huschka, CLIMATE EXTENDER, corona-compliant on the premises of the proWIN company headquarters.
The “climate-neutral company” certificate is a further step in the company's ongoing sustainability process. The award honors the measures taken with regard to the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals and was based on their strict criteria.
According to the certificate, it is guaranteed that proWIN has balanced a certain amount of CO2 according to the Green House Gas Protocol and has offset international climate protection projects that have been tested with the Gold Standard.
