In the trial, two defendants who worked as sales partners for OneCoin were acquitted. The district court also gave its opinion on the admissibility of the OneCoin distribution system, which means that OneCoin is not a pyramid scheme. This statement should come as a surprise, as there have been arrests worldwide against the backers of OneCoin. One of the co-founders, Konstantin I, the brother of the founder Ruja I, has apparently been in custody in the USA for a long time and cooperates with the US authorities there.
