The sales of the Vorwerk Group increased by 8.6 percent to 3.2 billion euros in 2020. The development of sales was thus well above the forecast. The operating result for the year was also above expectations. "We were able to react quickly and efficiently to the global corona pandemic," said Reiner Strecker, personally liable partner of the Vorwerk Group, when presenting the balance sheet. The start of the new financial year has also been successful, with sales after the first four months of 2021 more than 30 percent higher than the same period last year. Thermomix continues to be the division with the highest turnover within the Vorwerk Group and recorded a record turnover of 1.6 billion euros in 2020 (plus 24.9 percent).
