The regional court of Hamburg (judgment of 04.11.2016 - 315 O 396/15) had to assess a situation in which Forever Living Products Germany GmbH (Forever Living Products), a company from the MLM industry, represented by our law firm Resellers prohibited the sale of goods on the eBay trading platform. Forever Living Products sells high-quality nutritional supplements and cosmetics across Germany. In its company guidelines, the company stipulated, among other things, that the distribution of its goods by sales partners on the eBay trading platform is currently prohibited, since the eBay trading platform does not currently enable the entire product range to be displayed in the appropriate quality.
A Forever Living Products distributor ignored this contractual ban,
